Risk Manager
- Christodoulos studied Economics at the University of Essex followed by postgraduate studies in Financial Economics at City University, London. Christodoulos started his career as a multi-asset broker, gaining exposure to a broad range of equities and derivatives. He then joined the treasury of a local bank followed by a risk consulting role at an advisory firm.
His experience includes trading various asset classes, banking and investments, and risk consulting. Prior to joining Oneworld Plus Management he held the position of Head of Risk and Compliance at a local Investment Firm. He is a holder of the Advanced Financial Services Legal Framework certification by CySEC. - Prior to joining OneWorld, Chris worked for a large Cypriot Investment company and held the position of head of Risk and Compliance. His duties included preparation and enhancement of policies and procedures to comply with local and European regulatory requirements (MiFID II, AML, CySEC Investment Services Law), regulatory reporting (CRD, QST, ARM, EMIR, ICAAP, Pillar III), analysis of portfolio managers’ trading activity, preparation of risk management framework including risk limits based on statistical indicators, and stress test analysis.
- In his personal time, Christodoulos enjoys motorcycle rides, home beer brewing and attending Art exhibitions. He is an avid reader and is interested in history, news and current events, as well as advancements in Economics, Politics and Technology.
