Austin MacAnthony
As the Co-founder and Chairman of Alliance, Austin is responsible for the funds acquisitions, full oversight of the key development phases, the fund's sales and marketing strategy as well as the day to day running of the organisation.

- Austin was educated in Co. Dublin, attending St Mary's, Rockwell College and the College of Commerce and started his career as a trainee manager for Bryan S Ryan, a large hardware provider to offices throughout Ireland. In 1972, Austin entered the hospitality sector in Dublin, later expanding into London & Marbella, building a large estate of businesses, including Maxwell Plums, The Gathering, Gee Willikers, Cheers Pub, Oscars, Stokers and La Valbonne, to name but a few.
In 1992, Austin established an international duty-free trading platform within the Marine & Aviation industries, with a core focus on distribution for Waterford Crystal.
In the year 2000, Austin became the President of MacAnthony Realty International, establishing over 40 offices in 16 countries worldwide, managing over 1,000 employees and delivering nearly $5 billion in real estate sales values. - Austin has had a varied and hugely distinguished career spanning over 50 years. As a young man, Austin secured a position as a management trainee working directly for the VP of a large national organisation that supplied office equipment throughout the UK and Ireland. Upon completion of his management trainee program, Austin used the experience he had garnered to open some of the most popular bars, nightclubs and entertainment establishments in the entire country.
Upon successful exit of his businesses, Austin went onto start his own business trading and distributing products such as fragrances, pharmaceuticals, wines and high end fashion products to name but a few. After a change in EU import policies, Austin went onto work with his son, and was instrumental in the creation of the largest privately owned overseas property company in the world at the time. - Austin has 3 children, 6 grandchildren and spends the majority of his time between his hometown of Dublin and his holiday home in Florida.
Fun Fact: Austin's son owns a League One football club in the UK, who are currently fighting for promotion into the Championship.
